I admit it; I’m the kind of nerd that makes lists.
This is a soundtrack I’ve compiled while working on Embers At dawn. I find that listening to music spurs creativity and helps me get in the mood of the scene I’m writing. I’ve killed a few darlings, added some new ones and rearranged a bit to make it a soundtrack that corresponds with the atmosphere I’m going for.
I photographed the cover for Embers At Dawn today. The sketch is by the multi-talented Ingvild Eiring, who modelled, did the make-up and helped with the styling.
The ball that is Embers at Dawn has been rolling for almost three years now, minus the six months I spent writing the first draft of the second book in the 9 Lives series. The ball is flying now, and impact is imminent. The book will be available later this year.
